Gander seeks employer feedback on future work

Employer experience facilitator for young people, Gander, is seeking feedback from employers in Stockport as to how the organisation can support businesses to engage with young people and further education colleges.

Due to the coronavirus, Gander has been unable to run physical events since March and expects it will be unlikely to do so for some time. As a result, the team are seeking to hear the views of local businesses as to how they can continue to provide their services in the borough via a short survey.

Information gathered in the survey will be used to feedback into planning future Gander activities. Since being established in 2018, Gander has facilitated over 2,500 employer experiences for students at Stockport’s three FE colleges, including 200 in the 2019/20 academic year which was cut short by the virus.

The survey should take around five minutes to complete and will help ensure young people in Stockport continue to receive high quality careers support and can be completed online here.

The organisation would also like to hear from businesses that have benefited from working with Gander to engage young people that can feature as case studies for the service’s website.
