Stockport-based electrical installers, Fusion Electrical, have added their logo to the Edgeley Park team’s training kit, and now have agreed a match ball sponsorship too.
Stockport County defender, Sam Minihan, met with Fusion Electrical directors Tom Bell and James Harrison to thank them for their support this season. Both directors grew up in Stockport and are lifelong fans of the club. Tom said:
We decided to sponsor County as we have both been lifelong supporters of the club and jumped at the opportunity to support the team.
“When James was just six years old, he was a mascot for the Hatters, and his Dad, Clive, was involved with the club for many years as part of the executive committee. I’ve followed the team from a young age too, attending my first game when I was 12, so for Fusion Electrical, County has always had a place in our hearts.”
The announcement comes a week after Edgeley-based solicitors Marlow Braide extended their sponsorship with the Hatters. The Italian in Romiley also agreed to sponsor a player and match ball in October.
Fusion Electrical are an electrical installation firm based in Heaton Mersey, dealing with both domestic and commercial projects for over 15 years.
