
Romiley’s Forum Theatre has revealed its updated schedule of events to mark the return of live performances to the Stockport venue after the disruption of Covid-19.
Live theatre returned to the Forum with ‘Shrek the Musical,’ the first post-lockdown performance without restrictions in place.
Halloween marks the return of a full schedule of shows at the theatre, kicking off with adult cabaret show, The Rock N Horror Graveyard Show, as Beetlejuice, Frank N Furter, Dracula, Frankenstein and a host of other ghoulish creatures return after a 2 year absence to turn the theatre into a graveyard once again. With a live band, this rock show is not for the feint hearted and is strictly for adults only!
During November, two tribute bands will take the stage and rearranged performances of Seriously Collins, the ultimate Phil Collins tribute and the long running Roxy Magic, playing the best of Brian Ferry will have the audience dancing with delight.
As the festive season takes hold in December, NK Youth Theatre will bring to life the fantastic Queen musical We Will Rock You, which takes place from Wednesday 1st to Saturday 4th December and tickets are now on sale.
On Saturday 11th December, Mickey’s Big Adventure sees The Forum Theatre bring to the stage its traditional Disney show with all of your favourite characters and songs live on stage.
During the evening of the 11th December, the theatre will also host its Christmas Comedy Night, featuring three comics and a brilliant compere, ideal to welcome in the festive period with friends and work colleagues!
Brand new for 2021 are Christmas Family Movies! On Sunday 12th December at 5pm the theatre will be showing Home Alone on the big screen, with tickets also including Pizza and Popcorn! If Elf is more your thing, the festive comedy will be screened on Friday 17th December at 7pm, again with Pizza and Popcorn as part of the deal! During the day of 17th December, the Forum Theatre will be showing the Christmas classic It’s A Wonderful Life.
