Stockport Council is carrying out a series of footway improvement works across the borough.
The final phase of the work in Bramhall will take place on Ack Lane East between Bramhall Lane South and the District Centre Car Park entrance.
The existing flags and kerbs will be replaced with new materials to match the adjacent sections in the shopping centre. As part of the work, a feature stone will be installed in the paving on the footway adjacent to the mini-roundabout.
The work will start on the week commencing the 21st January and will be carried out by Solutions SK. The scheme is anticipated to take up to 12 weeks to complete.
During this time temporary traffic signals will be in operation for part of the work. Access to properties within the work area will be maintained and property owners who are directly affected have received a letter outlining the scope of the work and the timescales involved.
