There are just a few final spaces left for Stockport businesses to take part in a fully-funded cyber security course, starting 30th May, as part of the Digital Careers Upskill Programme.
The programme, part of the GMCA Skills for Growth programme and funded by the European Social Fund, aims to offer local people with new skills and knowledge to progress and help businesses to grow.
The 12 week Cyber Security Analyst Level 3 course will give Stockport SME’s the opportunity to have a team member gain the skills to implement security controls and threat protection, manage identity and access as well as how to protect data, applications and networks.
Attendees will learn how to maintain the security posture, identify and repair vulnerabilities by using a range of security tools, implement threat protection and respond to security incidents. There will also be the opportunity for participants to gain Microsoft Fundamental and Associate role-based certifications.
The programme is being delivered by Serco on behalf of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority. Fully funded training is available to businesses and employees located within any of Greater Manchester’s ten boroughs. For more information, contact the Serco Digital Skills Team here.
The wider Digital Careers Upskill Programme offers fully funding digital skills training courses and qualifications across two strands of training:
- Digital Reskill – retraining individuals into digital roles
- Digital Upskill – upskilling individuals already in digital roles
SMEs can get support from the Digital Careers Upskill Programme‘s Skills Engagement Team who will analyse, based on business growth ambitions, the skills gaps that need to be addressed and develop a bespoke training programme relevant to an organisation’s specific digital needs.
