The company will be sponsoring Newlife the Charity for Disabled Children for the next 12 months, the first time that Fairhurst Estates have chosen to run such a scheme.
Newlife provide specialist equipment to disabled and terminally ill children and their families. Fairhurst have experienced the charities work first hand and so have a great desire to show their gratitude and help raise awareness of the work they do.
Nigel Blyth, Director of Fairhurst Estates commented:
“This is the first time we’ve decided to support a charity for a full 12 months and I’m delighted we’ve chosen such a worthy charity as Newlife, the work they carry out is incredible and something very close to the hearts of some of our team.”
Paul Maplesden, Corporate Partnerships
Manager of Newlife commented:
“There are 1.1 million disabled children in the UK today and demand for our services has never been greater, which is why partnerships like this one are vitally important.
“As a direct result of the generosity and commitment of the staff at Fairhurst Estates, Newlife will be able to provide specialist equipment to more disabled children, helping to alleviate their pain and suffering and give them the chance to go to school to fulfil their potential. We are extremely grateful to Fairhurst and proud to have been chosen as their very first charity partnership”.
