Stockport’s largest commercial property landlord, Orbit Developments, is partnering with Greater Manchester Business Week, one of the Manchester Evening News titles, to host a breakfast event discussing the state of the economy in Stockport and the town’s potential to become the leading business destination in Greater Manchester.
The event will be chaired by Manchester Evening News Business Editor, Adam Jupp, (left) and feature a number of guest panellists talking about the big Stockport issues.
The confirmed panel includes Brian Bradley, a partner at Clarke Nicklin, John Cook, head of employment at SAS Daniels, and Stockport Council chief executive Eamonn Boylan with additional panellists to be announced.
They will discuss how future developments will impact on Stockport businesses and draw business back into the town centre, and will reflect on changes that have already taken place in the area over the last 18 months.
Local firms’ investment in the area and commitment to the town will also be a talking point, as will the overall strategy required to change perceptions of Stockport for the better.
Panel members will also share stories about the partnerships being formed to evolve the town into a business destination and guests will be encouraged to put forward their questions.
The event takes place at Regent House on Tuesday 17th March from 7.30am to 9am. Guests can enjoy a bite to eat and the opportunity to network with local businesses.
