Applications are being invited from local charities to become the Stockport Business Awards Charity Partner for 2017.
Now in it’s 6th year, Stockport Business Awards are looking for a new Charity Partner to benefit from all fundraising activities and proceeds arising from Stockport Business Awards 2017.
Each year the awards evening raises over £5,000 for a local cause. As well as being heavily featured on the night, the winning charity will also get links and branding on the Stockport Business Awards website, PR coverage before and after the awards, promotion in the awards brochure, the opportunity to make a short speech on the night and to form new relationships with local business people.

How to apply
Interested charities are invited to send a ONE PAGE document to Chelsea at Clarke Nicklin on chelseam@clarkenicklin.co.uk by 31st March to be considered.
Within your entry, you should cover:
- What the charity does and who it helps
- What the charity’s Stockport credentials are (are you based in the borough, or do you have a specific project/fund that benefits the area)
- What specifically you could spend the £5000 on
Anything you can bring to the awards that is mutually beneficial i.e. celebrity patrons, contribution of quality raffle prizes.
Started in 2012, Stockport Business Awards are a firm favourite on the business community’s calendar.
Previous charities who have benefited from being the designated charity include the Seashell Trust, The Weekend Dementia Centre and most recently Francis House.
