Entries for Stockport Local Fund close on Sunday!

If you have a great idea for your neighbourhood, there are just 5 days left to apply to Stockport Local Fund. 

Applications to Stockport Local Fund can be submitted until midnight on Sunday 6th January 2019 at: https://www.stockport.gov.uk/slf. The online application process is quick and easy – you can even submit it on your mobile phone!

Anyone can apply to the fund – individuals, friends, groups or organisations – and you can apply for any amount from £200 up to £10,000 per project, as long as your idea meets our requirements and priorities. If you’ve never done anything like this before why not ask for help from others in your community, or get in touch and we can connect you with people to support you.

Councillor Elise Wilson, Cabinet Member for Reform and Governance at Stockport Council said:

“We all have things that are important to us and our own ideas on how to make improvements. Maybe you’ve seen a need for people to support each other on a common issue? Or do you have a great idea that will help people to look out for each other so everyone feels safer in their community? Getting involved in the Stockport Local Fund could bring your idea to life.

“We are excited to hear from new groups or from people with new ideas, but we are also looking for organisations and groups who are already delivering successful projects who need investment to roll out a great idea to other parts of our community, or new users. How could you make your mark in Stockport?”
