Employee benefits provider, Enjoy Benefits, has completed a move to new premises in Dale House in Stockport town centre.
The business, which employs over 20 staff, has taken a 3,000 sq ft office on a three year lease in Dale House alongside prominent Stockport solicitors, Gorvins LLP. Enjoy Benefits has relocated after having outgrown its previous premises, a converted mid-terraced house in Heaton Chapel where the business has been located since it was first established 18 years ago.
Enjoy Benefits’ new space will enable the business to further double its headcount. Two new employees have already joined the firm since the move earlier this week, with additional opportunities expected to go live in the coming year.
Moving to a town centre location has also been well received by the existing staff. IT Director, Vic Johnston said colleagues had lost count of the possible options available to them for lunchtime or after-work dining near the office. Staff have also already begun taking advantage of discounted gym memberships provided by the business, thanks to the three gyms within just 200 metres of their new workplace.
Established in 2004, Enjoy Benefits work with businesses of all sizes to deliver employee benefits packages to their workforce, in particular supporting business to help working parents in their employ with childcare costs. Vic Johnston explained:
“Enjoy Benefits makes a big difference to the working lives of a great number of people, the majority of which is working women, after the closure of the Childcare Vouchers Scheme by the Government in 2018, the Workplace Nursery Benefit is the only option available to parents to save money on childcare.
“With UK childcare being some of the expensive in the OECD, being able to take advantage of making savings on nursery costs impacts the ability for parents, and more often than not, mothers, to be able to afford to return to work, and Enjoy Benefits help employers manage this benefit for their staff.”
