The Manchester Business Growth Hub has launched a fully-funded energy savings support package to help Greater Manchester SMEs become more efficient, productive, and sustainable. We’re all aware that we should be doing our bit for the environment, this workshop is designed to show SMEs how to go green whilst reducing costs.
Recent Government research has highlighted that SMEs are not optimising their energy usage and as a result missing out on savings of up to 25% on energy savings on their bills.
The workshop will focus on advising on simple low or no cost measures to optimise energy usage and become resilient to rising energy costs.
The Quick Wins for Energy Savings Workshop is taking place in Stockport at the Edgeley Park Football Stadium later this month. The Business Growth Hub has launched the initiative to assist SMEs in becoming more environmentally friendly, more sustainable and increase efficiency in the workplace all whilst reducing costs. Support will also be provided by their expert advisors to help your business to build its own tailored action plan and business case for action.
Caroline Simpson, Corporate Director for Place, Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council will open up the workshop as keynote speaker followed by a discussion of the risks, benefits and opportunities of the energy challenge and will then discuss energy savings.
