Stockport-based market research agency, DJS Research, has announced the appointment of eight new staff members to kick-off 2021.
The firm has bolstered its team with two new Research Managers, three Senior Research Executives and two Project Assistants, as as appointing a new Field and Data Services Director in Cara Rodwell.
As a director in the Field and Data team, Cara Rodwell is a key hire for DJS Research. She joins the business from Watermelon Research, where she was a Project Director carrying out research for a range of clients and brings two decades of experience to the firm. Of the appointment, Rodwell said:
I’m really pleased to be joining DJS Research at such an exciting time for the company. There are not many research agencies in the UK that can offer telephone (both consumer and B2B), face-to-face and online fieldwork services, so the fact that DJS Research offers all fieldwork approaches in-house has been a really important factor in my decision to join the agency. I’m really looking forward to bringing my extensive research experience and expertise to DJS Research and am relishing the prospect of helping to grow and develop the field and data services arm of the business further.”
The other new additions to DJS Research include Alex Belcher and Anna Hegarty as Research Managers as well as Jamie Lawson, Grace Middlehurst and Holly Collins as Senior Research Executives. To offer support to researchers, DJS Research has also welcomed two experienced Project Assistants, Carly Parsons and Sarah Smith.
Although the market research agency’s core offices remain in Stockport and Leeds, the company has embraced greater remote working to provide the firm with the best access to talent from across the country. Of the latest new hires, six are remote, giving the company a further presence in Glasgow, Birmingham and Kent as well as the Cotswolds and Devon.
Danny Sims, Managing Director of DJS Research said:
It has obviously been and still is a very difficult time for the whole world and that includes the market research industry. We strongly believe though that it is even more important now to improve as a company and to continue to invest. Part of our strategy is to continue to expand our team and we’ve certainly done that with these excellent and experienced new starters who have decided to join DJS Research.
“We are really looking forward to working with them all and are excited about what they can bring to the company, including now a presence in Scotland. I also do feel proud that despite a very difficult climate we have managed to offer these key positions within our company”
