
Stockport’s Egan Reid Group has expanded, unveiling a brand new working furniture showroom and design studio, in a neighbouring unit to their main offices and warehouse on Bredbury Industrial Park.
The new showroom and design studio is home to Egan Reid Office Environments, the group’s specialist furniture and interior fit-out division, and brings the furniture and interior sales, design and operations teams under one roof.
A working showroom, the studio combines work, meeting and social zones, showcasing the full extent of Egan Reid’s commercial interior design, refurbishment and fit-out services.
High quality, on-trend furniture and storage sits alongside task, meeting, soft, break-out and bistro seating by some of the UK’s top office furniture brands such as Imperial, Silverline, Edge Design and Pledge.
A particular focus is on the company’s in-house space planning facilities where clients are welcome to visit and see their project progress as it is being developed.

The family owned business has come a long way since it was first established 1957 by Jack Reid and Jim Egan, selling stationery, when it was a letterpress printers & die-stampers and office supplies business.
Now in its 3rd generation, managing director Martin Reid entered the business in 1978 followed by brother Andrew two years later. Martin’s son Charlie joined the company in 2012 after graduating from university.
If you stacked the average number of reams of Egan Reid branded A4 paper sold annually it would be twice the height of Mount Everest!
