World Backup Day will fall on the eve of April Fools’ Day – designed to create awareness around the scary reality of data loss and the importance of protecting your IT assets through backing up.  However, it’s more than that!  It is also observed to encourage IT Administrators to test the effectiveness of their backup strategy.

What is backup?

A backup is a second copy of all your important files.  Instead of storing it all in one place i.e. on your computer you keep another copy of everything somewhere safe.

Why should I backup?
