Nine DJS researchers are lacing up their running shoes and beginning training for the Great Manchester Run.
On Sunday, May 22, the team will take to the streets of Manchester to run a commendable 10km for the Together Trust, whilst being cheered on by the wider DJS Research team.
Last year, their team of amateur runners won the award for the fastest medium business team of mixed-sex runners.
This year, the researchers who have bravely signed up include managing director Danny Sims and his wife Ali, research directors James Hinde and Alasdair Gleed.
Research managers, consultants and executives complete the nine-strong team.
Donations can be made via the DJS JustGiving page: www.justgiving.com/DJSResearchLtd.
They are hoping to raise £500 for Marketing Stockport member the Together Trust, a charity that provides the north west with a variety of community, special education and care services for individuals with learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, complex health needs, autism and physical disabilities.
As well as this, the Together Trust provides families and carers of those with a range of challenges with a plethora of services, such as consultancy, training, and support to assist individuals making decisions and taking control.
Although the charity is based in and primarily works within the North West and the surrounding areas, the Together Trust accepts referrals from all over the United Kingdom.
