DJS Research Ltd is pleased to announce that Gill Redfern has joined the agency as a Research Director. Redfern’s appointment marks the third major appointment in a month at the northern agency, with Alexandre Tatry-Gautier and Paul Hylands joining as International Business Development Manager and CATI Manager respectively.
Redfern joins DJS with over 15 years’ of experience in both qualitative
and quantitative research, via Directions Research & Marketing and
Nunwood. Since 2008, Gill has pursued a freelance career, working for
both end clients and with research agencies.
Gill is particularly strong in the retail, publishing and kids/youth
markets – she has worked with several major names including Tesco,
Matalan, M&S, Mars, Nestle and News International. Her experience
covers both traditional methodologies and newer techniques, including
online groups, communities, social media forums and bulletin boards;
she is particularly adept at qualitative research and will take responsibility for ensuring the standard of qualitative research at DJS is particularly high.
Speaking about Gill Redfern’s appointment, Danny Sims, Managing Director at DJS Research Ltd, felt that the growth of the company was a symptom of the values it embodied:
“Gill’s arrival is a great step for DJS. We pride ourselves on the quality of our research and the only way to offer top level research is to have a first-rate team. Gill’s skillset complements the experience of our present Research Directors perfectly, and her knowledge of qualitative research is second to none – she’s a fantastic addition to our team.”
In addition, DJS Research Ltd has also taken on Jenny Traynor, in a research support role, and Declan Whewell, who will assist with administration in the operations team.
