Full service market research agency, DJS Research Ltd, has beaten its internal sales target of £3.3m, to reach a phenomenal turnover of £3.6 million during the financial year 2014/15, representing a 26% growth (£2.8 million last financial year).
Having passed the £3 million mark, DJS Research has broken into the list of the largest market research companies in the UK and is ranked in 85th place based on MRS figures from October 2014.
In the last five years, DJS Research has grown by 800% and is now 8 times bigger in turnover terms than in 2010. In the last 2 years, the agency has grown by 63%.
The agency’s rapid growth puts DJS Research as the 7th fastest growing agency in the UK according to the same MRS figures.
DJS Research’s growth can be attributed to a number of major contract wins, including several large public sector projects with the DWP, Environment Agency, National Audit Office and BIS.
Growth within the agency’s education market research arm, VoicED – which has increased its revenue by more than ten-fold within a year – and also Localise, DJS Research’s consumer and customer profiling tool, have contributed towards the company’s success this year.
The agency is committed to further development and has set an ambitious growth target of £4million in terms of turnover – this would represent the 7th consecutive year of double-digit growth. DJS Research have committed to adopting measures to ensure another year of success. The agency has pledged to increase its staff, along with investing in, and training, its current employees. DJS Research will be hosting a graduate recruitment day in June and seeks to take on three graduates.
The continuous and rapid growth has led to the company winning Business of the Year at Stockport Business Awards. As well as this, the company also celebrated individual success, with Alasdair Gleed being named the region’s Business Person of the Year.
