Stockport businesses are invited to learn how they can boost productivity, attract top talent, and gain recognition through good employment practices at an upcoming breakfast event.
The event will introduce business owners, managers, HR managers, and leaders across all sectors to the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter and the benefits of becoming a Supporter or Member of the scheme. The GM Good Employment Charter is a free, voluntary membership initiative for businesses committed to improving employment standards across the region that launched in 2019.
Taking place at Village Hotel, Cheadle on 27th February from 8.30am, the event will see Stockport Council, business support experts, Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter representatives, and successful local business leaders explore how good employment practices can boost innovation, drive growth, enhance staff happiness and well-being, and create a thriving, productive workplace.
At the event, attendees can expect to:
- Gain insights from keynote speeches by Stockport Council and the Charter Director on the benefits of adopting good employment practices.
- Hear real-life success stories from local business leaders in our Charter Members’ Panel, busting myths and sharing practical tips.
- Participate in interactive Round Table Discussions designed to help you apply good employment principles to your business.
- Network with like-minded businesses and enjoy refreshments in a collaborative environment.
