At a fraction of their previous costs, 23 Quality Save stores have increased functionality and savings with innovative solutions from technology provider Midshire®.
Initially wanting a trial at 3 sites, Quality Save commissioned the company to install HP M477 FDW multifunction printers and Lenovo laptops at their stores across the North West and Yorkshire.
Each HP machine is capable of wireless communication and duplex full-colour printing as standard, which when tested against rival machines came out on top for speed and quality.
As a multi-site business, it was crucial for employees to be able to work collaboratively and provide a quality service to customers without the worry of out-dated or unreliable technology.
To provide simplicity, the same solution was installed at all sites, meaning all parts and refill cartridges are consistent.

Managing Director of Quality Save Ric Rudkin commented on their managed print requirements:
“As a company that operates in a fast paced environment it was important that we selected a provider that could take care of everything, allowing us to focus our efforts on business development.
“We found that with Midshire, they send us ink and toner refills before we run out, proactively service our machines so they don’t break, and expert Stuart Carruthers is always checking-in to make sure we have no issues.”
Stuart met Directors Ric and Paul Rudkin at a networking event organised by another Midshire customer, Harold Sharp.
Stuart says:
“Both myself and Midshire are very pleased to be working with such a recognisable brand throughout the North West.”
Building on the legacy of Bob Rudkin, who founded Quality Save in 1974 as a small market stall, the company now employs over 600 people.
