
Virgin Atlantic has announced plans to launch direct flights from Manchester Airport to the Indian capital, Delhi, for the first time.
Flights will begin in October 2020, with departures three times a week. Currently, Virgin only flies to India from Heathrow, with services to Delhi and Mumbai.
The new direct flights from Manchester to Delhi will operate on a seasonal basis, starting on October 26th.
Virgin Atlantic has also announced it plans to offer additional direct flights from Manchester to Barbados, adding 13% capacity, as well as increased flying between Manchester and Cape Town and Havana.
