Family-run developer, Adlington Retirement Living has sold-out at its Cheadle retirement community at The Chimes.
The development is the ninth site Cheshire-based Adlington Retirement Living to sell-out, with all 48 luxury apartments at the scheme now sold since welcoming its first homeowners in July 2019. The sale of all the properties at The Chimes is testament to the strong wider performance of Stockport’s property market across all residential markets.
The Chimes is one of three of Adlington’s communities in Stockport, alongside The Folds in Romiley, and recently completed The Woodlands in Heaton Mersey.
Dr Ed Gladman, Managing Director of Adlington Retirement Living, said:
“We’re really pleased to have welcomed homeowners to all 48 apartments at The Chimes. There’s a real sense of community there and it’s wonderful to see so many homeowners enjoying their retirement.”
Dr Ed Gladman believes the retirement community is a wonderful example of a new blueprint for retirement living, with 24-hour on-site support teams, tailored personal care packages, social activities and sophisticated emergency call and video entry systems. He adds:
“Adlington’s vision is to empower our older generation to live a long, happy and healthy life. We do that by creating safe and secure environments with active communities, extensive facilities, and spacious, quality homes, providing an opportunity to enjoy retirement with a new perspective.”
