Commercial property company Orbit Developments have welcomed professional cycling team, Team INEOS into one of their buildings in Wilmslow.
Team INEOS, formerly Team Sky, launched in 2010 and within three years, saw Bradley Wiggins become the first British winner of the Tour de France. The team have since won seven titles, including Egan Bernal’s 2019 win.
The cycling team’s office will house the team’s administration, business operations and marketing staff and will improve accessibility and amenities for the staff.
Caroline Turpin, Office Manager for Team INEOS, said:
Being able to walk to Wilmslow train station is great for those members of the team making regular journeys to London. Wilmslow is full of great bars, cafes and restaurants so the choice for lunch or a drink after work is refreshing when compared to our previous business park home.”
Adam Jackson, Senior Leasing Surveyor at Orbit Developments added:
The reasons cited by Caroline are true for many businesses whatever their sector. Excellent public transport links and varied local amenity make a big difference to individual staff members, the wellbeing of whom is always key to business success.”
