Stockport-based branding, web design and marketing agency, Create8 has doubled its headcount despite the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.
The agency has also moved this year into new office space at the Mailbox in Stockport town centre after doubling the size of its team from five to 10, despite the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic and repeated lockdowns.
The agency has attributed its growth to the challenges of working from home and the opportunities for creative thinking brought about by video-calls with colleagues and clients.
Commenting on the success of the new hires for the agency, Create8 Creative Director, Pete Screeton said:
Thinking about growth is always at the forefront of a company’s mind, but for us, it’s about the quality of the staff. We have a unique mould at Create8, where we champion independence and curiosity. Finding someone who fits that remit isn’t always easy. It’s fair to say we’ve been extremely fortunate to find some absolute belters.’
The expanded team has now begun to transition back to face-to-face working in the agency’s new home in the Mailbox after looking for an office space that aligned with Create8’s ambition.
The Mailbox is an impressive regeneration of the former sorting office located in the heart of Stockport, close to Stockport train station. Pete Screeton added:
The Mailbox is perfect; it’s brilliant, accessible and just feels right. It’s airy and fresh; we love the feeling of walking in there; this is going to be a match made in heaven; we know it already.”
