
Greater Manchester’s Local Enterprise Partnership (GM LEP) is hosting its fourth webinar on Building Back Better in the city-region, with discussion focusing on the newly published Living with Covid Resilience Plan.
The session, hosted in partnership with the Growth Company, is the latest in a series on Greater Manchester’s Build Back Better principles and business recovery in the wake of the challenges posed by the coronavirus crisis. The one-hour webinar comes following GMCA’s publication of its Living with COVID Resilience Plan.
Panellists confirmed for the discussion include:
- Greater Local Enterprise Partnership Co-Chair Lou Cordwell OBE
- Leader of Stockport Council and GMCA Economy Lead, Cllr Elise Wilson
- Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham
- Growth Company Chief Executive Mark Hughes
The webinar will take place on September 15th at 1.30pm, hosted by John Quinton-Barber.
Planned discussion topics include will include targeted support for sectors most impacted by Covid-19, growing sectors requiring investment to scale, the GM Good Employment Charter and the continuation of the SafeGM campaign to reassure people about returning to work.
The webinar is free to attend, and there is an opportunity to submit any questions for the panel upon registration.
