
Greater Manchester AI Foundry is inviting small to medium businesses to bring their innovative thinking to solve an AI challenge posed by Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM).
Businesses are being invited to put forward teams of up to five colleagues take part in a unique innovation AI Challenge for transport-focused businesses keen to adopt cutting-edge technology.
During a half day event on Tuesday 16th November (1pm to 5pm, location to be confirmed), businesses will be given one of three scenarios set by TfGM and asked to overcome the challenge by harnessing AI.
If your innovative problem solving wins the challenge you will have the opportunity to:
- Work with researchers from the Greater Manchester AI Foundry and TfGM
- Fastrack to Greater Manchester AI Foundry fully funded research & development support for eligible businesses (residency restrictions apply)
- Creation of a marketing case study for your business highlighting your AI prowess
- Network with leading AI researchers, businesses, and public sector organisations
Further details for the event are yet to be announced, but spaces for the challenge are limited so teams should enter as soon as possible to secure their spot.

The Transport AI Innovation Challenge has been organised by Manchester Metropolitan University’s Centre for Enterprise, which provides business support services and training for micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises in the North West.
