COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN TO OPEN SOUTH REDDISH STATION GATHERS STEAM

Stockport community group Friends of Reddish South Station – FORSS – are campaigning for the rail line that runs from Stockport to Manchester Victoria via Reddish South & Denton Stations to be reopened for regular passenger services.  

As part of the negotiations for the new Northern Rail franchise, which is planned to begin operations in 2016,  the group  have produced their 3rd report in order to respond to the Department for Transport consultation document, plus a DVD which is now on YouTube;
