Stockport based businesses, CDL and Fibrestar Drums, will be among those sharing their sustainability journeys at the November Climate Action Business Forum.
Taking place from 8am to 10am on 24th November, both online and in person at Cornerstone, the Climate Action Business Forum aims to help support Stockport-based businesses on their journey to achieving net zero.
It aims to take businesses beyond the initial stage of understanding climate change, towards actively addressing and implementing change within their organisations. The upcoming November meeting will see local insurtech, CDL, share their sustainability journey.
Also in attendance will be representatives of Manchester University’s Sustainable Materials Innovation Hub, and Hazel Grove-based manufacturer Fibrestar Drums is among the local businesses to have already benefited from their support to make their products more environmentally responsible.
The forum is open to all businesses, and sectors, creating an opportunity for those that are interested in making a difference to share best practice and access support from organisations such as the Business Growth Hub and Carbon Literacy Project.
To book your ticket to attend either online or in-person, visit the Climate Action Business Forum Eventbrite page.
The Forum, which meets quarterly, also has a LinkedIn Group to allow attendees to continue their discussions outside the events and share best practices and ideas with the Stockport business community.
