Clarke Nicklin welcomes new trainee accountant

Cheadle Royal based Clarke Nicklin Chartered Accountants have announced further growth of their team with the addition of a new Trainee Accountant.

Alan Surej (pictured) joined the firm at the beginning of August in the accounts department.

Alan, who holds a BSc in Accounting & Finance and a PgDip Accounting & Finance both from Salford University, also has previous experience working at a top 10 accountancy practice. He will work within the audit and accounts team dealing with a variety of client assignments. As a Trainee Accountant, he will be supported by Clarke Nicklin through a training package as he continues taking his numerous ACA exams to become a Chartered Accountant and ICAEW member.

When reflecting on his first few weeks, Alan Surej said:

I have been fortunate to be around a very helpful team who have helped me settle in and made me feel like a valued member. Going forwards, my aim is to gain valuable experience from every job, whether it be accounts, tax computation, audit or bookkeeping so I can be an asset to the firm.”
