While the rest of the UK takes part in the ‘Clean for the Queen’ campaign in honour of Queen Elizabeth ??’s 90th birthday, teams from CDL have joined forces with The Friends of the Trans Pennine Trail, Sustrans and Stockport Council to take part in a “spring clean” litter pick along The Kings Reach Bridleway.
The newly renovated pathway beside the River Mersey opened in September last year following a year-long improvement project carried out in partnership with Stockport Council, Groundwork and Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM).
The pathway attracts cyclists, horse riders, joggers and walkers.
Established in 1977 by CDL Group Chairman Tom Hogg, CDL, one of the UK’s leading insurance software houses, employs over 550 people at its headquarters in Stockport and has a strong track record in the high volume retail insurance sector.
