Staff at C&C Insurance Brokers got in the festive spirit on Christmas jumper day to raise funds for two important local charities.
As well as raising funds on Christmas jumper day, during December the teams at C&C have been collecting clothes, food and cash to support two important charities in the area: The Wellspring, a resource for homeless and disadvantaged people and Infinity, who provide support for vulnerable people.
The teams have donated much needed warm winter clothes and food supplies to help to support Infinity over the festive period.
This year, instead of having an office Secret Santa, staff decided to donate money to the Wellspring; staff also paid to wear their Christmas Jumpers, raising over £100 for the charity.
Paula Williams, Operations Director at C&C Insurance Brokers said,
“I would like to thank everyone at C&C, they have all been very generous with their donations to both of these very worthwhile charities.”

Amanda Bradwell from C&C with Wellspring’s Jonathan Billings
Amanda Bradwell (left with Jonathan Billings of the Wellspring) from C&C delivered the donation to The Wellpring.
The children were from a local school, and were just dropping off donations they had collected over the 12 days of Christmas. The teacher with them said they wanted to teach the children that Christmas wasn’t all about receiving, but should be about giving too. They each had to bring something different in for each day, deodorants on one, socks on another etc.
The centre is massively busy at this time of year, but Jonathan made time to stop and say thank you to everyone who donated. They are open Christmas Day and providing dinners, so the money will help pay for someone’s sprouts this year! Please say thanks to everyone who donated, it was much appreciated by the centre.
