Stockport-based C&C Insurance Brokers has announced the appointment of Norwich-based Account Executive Ian Limeburner to break into the East Anglia region.
Ian brings over 25 years of experience in commercial insurance, mostly spent at a single broker – the One Broker group – which became a region of Jensten IB. His experience spans construction, roofing, manufacturing, and charities, but he’s also something of a transport, haulage and logistics specialist.
With C&C always on the lookout for new talent, Tom O’Connell, Director of C&C Leeds, took Ian through the business’ vision, client centric ethos, and empowering approach to people management, and everything just chimed.
Ian Limeburner said:
“I can’t wait to get going for C&C in Norwich and across the East Anglia region. Tom’s presentation of the business resonated with my style of working and how I approach client service. By nature, I’m proactive, have always worked hard to protect my clients and know the wheels and haulage insurance sector inside out. My goal is to create a gulf between us and the competition; something that will really make it hard for clients to ignore when considering their renewals. There’ll be no honeymoon period. I have masses of plans and I’m already looking forward to making an impact from day one!”
Tom O’Connell, Director of C&C Leeds, said:
“Ian is a great find, and I knew early on in our discussions that he’d be perfect for us. His knowledge of the region, the haulage and wider sectors, and his extensive insurance experience in general make him the ideal champion to promote and grow a client base for C&C Insurance Brokers in East Anglia. He’s ambitious and full of energy too, so although this is relatively new territory for us, we’re all confident that he’s the man to help build our presence. But no one more so than Ian!”
Malcolm Cooke, MD of C&C, said:
“We’ve been eyeing the East Anglia region for a while. Ian’s experience and client service ethic match exactly what we’ve been looking for and what our clients have come to expect from C&C. It’s not just about doing what’s expected; it’s about the extra country miles that we put in to look after our clients, so Ian is a great fit. We’re all delighted to have him on board, flying the C&C flag in a new region for us!”
When he’s not brokering and protecting his clients, he’s keen on outdoor life and loves to travel. In fact, when we caught up with him, he was with his Cocker Spaniel, Colin, in a campervan going through the Cairngorms on a final hurrah, before starting. Colin is as mad as a box of frogs, by all accounts, so even away from work, Ian has to remain alert to the unexpected!
