Businesses sought to sponsor Stockport Race and Culture Awards

Businesses that are keen to support impact initiatives striving for race equality are being invited to sponsor the Stockport Race and Culture Awards.

The Stockport Race and Culture Awards is an annual event organised by Stockport Race Equality Partnership CIC and brings together Stockport’s businesses, public sector and local community. The event shines a light on the fantastic efforts of individuals and organisations who consistently go above and beyond in championing race equality, fostering inclusivity, creating opportunities for underrepresented groups, and dismantling barriers that hinder prosperity.

Organisers are inviting local businesses to support the awards through a range of sponsorship packages, including as headline sponsor for the who event, or category sponsor for one of the nine awards.

In addition to funds raised through the awards directly impacting initiatives in the region working towards race equality, sponsorship also allows businesses to demonstrate their commitment to inclusivity and social justice, gain exposure to a diverse and engaged audience of Stockport businesses, public sector, and local community organisations, as well as engage directly with an ethnically diverse potential workforce and customer base within in the borough.

The Stockport Race and Culture Awards will take place on Friday 16th February 2024 at The Guildhall Stockport, 169-171 Wellington Road South, Stockport, SK1 3UA.
