Stockport Volunteer Fair is taking place on Wednesday 18 September at Merseyway Shopping Centre (outside Specsavers).
Over 20 local community organisations will be on hand to share their latest volunteering roles as well as discuss opportunities for Corporate Volunteering packages.
Stockport Volunteer Hub Lead, Clare Finch said:
“Stockport has a thriving voluntary sector, offering a wide range of roles and causes to support, from maintenance, gardening, and handiwork to befriending, skill-sharing, and more. Volunteering provides a valuable opportunity to acquire new skills, connect with others, and engage with your local community.
“We encourage employers to consider allowing their staff additional time to visit the Fair and explore the local volunteering opportunities available to them.”
