
Viaduct Housing Partnership have been highly commended at the Inside Housing Development Awards 2019 for its Bredbury Curve Development.
Viaduct Housing Partnership worked in partnership with The Casey Companies to build the development, which offered 12 apartments and 48 houses through shared ownership and affordable rent schemes.
The team was also shortlisted for Best Council/ALMO Development Team for their innovative work, from refurbishing listed buildings, helping to bring new life to the community’s historic buildings. The team have also built support housing scheme and have plans to build the organisations first ‘Extra Care’ Scheme.

Viaduct Housing Partnership is a collaboration between Stockport Council and Stockport Homes Group’s Development Team (pictured) that was set up in 2017. The partnership aims to build new affordable homes for shared ownership, outright sale and affordable rent such as at Bredbury Curve across the Stockport Borough.
Current projects include the redevelopment of Battersby Hat Factory on Hempshaw Lane in Offerton, set to be converted into 144 homes by June 2021.
The Inside Housing Development Awards are organised by Inside Housing magazine to recognise and celebrate the UK’s best residential property developments, with winners announced at a ceremony in London.
