Colleagues from Orbit Deveopments and sister company Jones Homes, one of the North West’s largest commercial and residential property group, teamed up in the Big Stockport Run and raised £2,185 for Millie’s Trust.
The 21-strong team of runners taking part in the 10K Run around the town centre included from Team Orbit above – Claire Stott, Chris Parry, Rhys Owen, Paul McLeman, Terry Russell, Giles Hardern, Amanda Wyatt, Louise Morgan, Mark Royle, Pete Woodward, Robert Hallworth, Jon Shufflebotham, Penny Moorhead, Peter Shaw, Glenn Savage, Emily Richards, Tom Loomes, Kerren Phillips, Gemma Pownall, Phil Williams and Alex Little.
Marketing Assistant for Orbit and keen runner Claire Stott said:
“We had a brilliant time. It was great to see so many colleagues involved and get the chance to raise so much money at the same time. There was an amazing atmosphere around the course. It carried us all over the line – some with a personal best!”
Orbit Developments have 12 commercial properties in the town centre with several on the Big Run route and backed the event from the beginning.

Millies Trust www.milliestrust.com is a charity that aims to make First Aid training available to everyone.
Organised by Life Leisure, the Big Stockport Run is in its third year and part of Stockport’s Big Event Series which includes a swim, walk and run.
It aims to encourage more people in the Borough to participate in sport and lead active and healthy lifestyles.
