Big names from the Manchester business community are set to perform at the Can You SIng Manchester event on 9th October.
Inspiral Carpets keyboard player and XFM DJ Clint Boon has been confirmed as a judge for the event whilst Media Lawyer Steve Kuncewicz of Bermans will be swapping IP for a high C as he takes to the stage.
The line up of singers includes the CEO of the Manchester Law Society, Fran Eccles-Bech; John Ashcroft, CEO of Pro Manchester; Nick Rose, crowned ‘Manchester Champion’ and Marketing Stockport member, Midshire whilst Marketing Stockport co-founder Richard Higginson (pictured left) will be be doing his best to represent Stockport.
Each singer will perform a song of their choice and is tasked with raising as much money as possible to get through to the final at the end of the night. The two acts with the highest amount raised by 9pm on the night will be entered into the final to be critiqued by the tough judging panel.
Future pro manchester are hosting this event in partnership with strategy, creative and digital agency thisisLDA. The event is sponsored by Midshire Business Systems and will take place at Revolution De Cuba.
Competitors and guests are looking to raise £50,000 for Macmillian and Francis House.
Nick Rose, Sales Manager at sponsors Midshire, is no stranger to raising money or Guiness World Records. Nick’s F72 football match last year raised a staggering almost £50,000 for charity and it something Nick is looking to repeat at this year’s challenging event.
