Bennett Verby client Janet Bowden nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year award

A long-standing client of Bennett Verby has been shortlisted for the prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Founder and Company Director of Woodbank Office Solutions, Janet Bowden, who has been a client of Bennett Verby for over ten years, has been shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year 2016.

Woodbank Office Solutions, based in Stockport, are the North West’s leading supplier of Konica Minolta and Kyocera office photocopiers, printers and integrated business solutions. It is a company who pride themselves on doing things differently, ‘the Woodbank Way’, very much putting their customers at the heart of what they do.

With offices located in Manchester and Liverpool, Woodbank operates across the whole of the UK with their main hub of operations throughout the North West – Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cheshire and Merseyside.

Ian Buckley of Bennett Verby Accountants explained, “It’s always so rewarding to see our clients gain recognition for their hard work, especially when you have worked together through thick and thin for such a long period of time. We are keeping everything crossed that she goes on to win this much deserved prestigious award.”

Janet Bowden, founding director of Woodbank Office Solutions, said: “It’s fantastic news to be shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year. Starting a business is never easy but I’ve always strived to learn more about things I’m passionate about. I love my team and I’m so proud them, it’s great to see staff progress and grow with the company and to see Woodbank establish itself more across the North West business community.”  

The award ceremony is being held Thursday November 3rd, at Cheshire’s prestigious Mere Golf & Spa resort, Knutsford. Previous winners include Sam Nixon of Moneysupermarket.com and Antony Preston of Pets at Home. The judging panel consists of an array of highly successful entrepreneurs, including a Dragon from Dragon’s Den.
