Stockport based film and video company BellyFlop TV have put the focus on family and finance at Hazel Grove based Prest Financial Planning – Chartered Financial Planners.
Established in 1961, Prest Financial Planning are one of the North West’s leading financial advisory firms. Working with clients for over five decades, Prest were keen to tell viewers about the company’s history and how it is constantly evolving in today’s marketplace.
Managing director Graham Prest explains:
“We understand just how important decisions and life events like retirement and long-term investments are to our clients. We have been advising on these important matters since Prest was set up by my late father Jim in 1961.
“I wanted to tell the history associated with our business and how that impacts on our knowledge and the way we treat our clients today, as though they too are a part of our family.”
Producing the video gave Marketing Stockport members Prest Financial Planning and BellyFlop TV the opportunity to work together.
Jonathan Robinson, managing director of BellyFlop TV believes excellent preparation produces first class results for his clients too:
“Graham completed a filming guide to give us a clear direction of the film. I was then able to use the guide as a base for my interviews with Graham and his colleague Lisa.
“The nature of the business meant we needed to respect the confidentiality of Prest’s clients, including any documents on desk and internal memo boards. We mainly featured the areas clients would experience on their visits such as reception and meeting rooms, but I also featured a few clips in the office showing the staff interacting together to make it not feel too stuffy and clerical.
“The advantage of us filming with local clients in Stockport is, after the first edit, if we feel there is anything further the film requires, we can revisit to get any extra shots which is what we did.
“The film had four sessions in edit in total so we got it just right. It was about two weeks in total from the initial filming day to the final edit being sent over.
“Prest are a good client for us as the film is not just to fill a gap in a website, it needs to communicate a specific message and Prest take a lot of consideration into the video.”
