
We are pleased to invite you to the South Manchester Financial & Professional networking event, which will be held at the Deanwater Hotel, Stockport on Thursday 1st December 2022.
The meeting will cover the Bank of England’s latest Monetary Policy Report, presented by Ken Clark, Deputy Agent for the Bank of England in the North West.
There will also be an opportunity to network and collaborate with other representatives from the sector.
Chris Booth our network chair will welcome and introduce the morning’s agenda.
Guest Speaker:
Ken Clark joined the Bank of England as Deputy Agent for the North West in April 2022.
A former academic, he has published widely in the area of labour economics and held a number of leadership roles in higher education.
Between 2015 and 2021 Ken served as the economist
member of the School Teachers’ Review Body which advises the Department for Education on teacher pay in English schools.
He holds an undergraduate degree in Politics and Political Economy from the University of Glasgow and a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Manchester.
Ken lives in the High Peak and enjoys running and listening to music in his spare time.

The event will take place on Thursday 1st December 2022. With registration and breakfast taking place from 8.00am and presentations starting at 8.30am. The event should conclude by 9.30am, allowing for further networking.
