Professional services group, Azets, has announced the launch of a recruitment drive for its digital accountancy brand, Gorilla Accounting.
The international outsourcing, compliance, and advisory group acquired Bolton-based Gorilla Accounting earlier this year; the digital accountancy firm specialises in contractors, freelancers, sole traders, and small limited companies. Following the acquisition by Azets, the business has upped its recruitment efforts for accountants for client-facing roles at all levels.
Since being founded in 2015, Gorilla has grown rapidly, doubling in size over the past 18 months to 45 people, and following its acquisition by Azets, which has enabled the group’s SME clients to benefit from enhanced digital services, the firm is looking to continue its momentum by adding new and experienced accountants to bolster its specialist tech-enabled accounting services.
The recruitment drive is the first major milestone for Gorilla as part of Azets, a top ten accountancy firm in the UK, which has ambitious plans to grow by 50% in the next five years.
Dan Fallows (pictured), co-founder Managing Director of Gorilla Accounting, commented:
“This is an exciting time to join Gorilla as we welcome new talented accountants into the firm to keep delivering against our growth ambition as part of Azets.
“A career at Gorilla is built on mutual trust and focussed on providing our people with all the tools they need to develop personally and professionally. We offer high levels of autonomy and a broad range of experience, with a strong focus on tech-enabled accounting services.”
All vacancies can be found at the Gorilla Accounting website, where applications from people from all backgrounds are encouraged.
Azets is a top 10 accountancy firm and employs more than 3,800 people in the UK, with 90 offices nationwide, including in Stockport following the group’s acquisition of Booth Ainsworth in 2019.
