Stockport based Aqua Design Group is continuing to support small businesses with Shop #SBS
Small Business Sunday #SBS competition on Twitter was started by Theo Paphitis, well known ex-Dragons’ Den entrepreneur.
Keen to help small businesses gather greater exposure and with interests in high street names such as Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue, his Small Business Sunday #SBS competition has been running on Twitter since October 2010.
To promote and support #SBS winners more, a dedicated online shopping platform was brought online. The website has been recently relaunched with a new logo and more focus on supporting #SBS winners.
Stockport creative business Aqua Design Group, who is also an #SBS winner, approached the background team who help run the competition and arrange yearly meet-up events in Birmingham. Managing director Dylan Moore was keen to see if his own designers could help with marketing support for their fellow winners on the shopping site.
Dylan said:
“I had the idea of designing new leaflets along with a new social media badge, to help promote the site across the national #SBS network.
“The leaflet would then be distributed to all the winners to take to events such as craft fairs, business shows and networking events they would be attending in their region and would also be promoted across social media.
“I was thrilled when the #SBS crew came back to me and accepted my proposal to help support the Shop #SBS and my fellow winners.
“I love supporting this fantastic network.”
