Applications have opened for small businesses in Greater Manchester to gain a boost from the government-backed funded Help to Grow: Management programme.
Organisations will get the chance to work with small business experts from Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) to enhance resilience, recovery and long-term growth following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The training programme will provide business leaders with the management tools needed to drive growth, upskill your workforce and protect jobs.
Designed to be manageable alongside full-time work, the 12-week course will cover financial management, strategies for growth and innovation, leading a high-performance workplace, and digital adoption. By the end of the programme, businesses will have put together a tailored growth plan to reach their full potential as well as gaining access to the Help to Grow mentoring and alumni network.
Ahead of the start of the latest intake of the Help to Grow: Management course, MMU is hosting no-obligation webinars for SME decision makers to learn more about the programme and how their business could benefit. Webinars will take place on 16th and 30th March, and 11th April – register to attend here.
Further details about the course content and eligibility criteria are available from the MMU website, along with the course dates of upcoming intakes for the Help to Grow: Management programme.
The scheme is 90% funded by government; businesses will be asked to contribute the remaining £750 fee once they are accepted onto the programme.
