Ahead of Apprenticeship Week taking place March 9th – 13th, Stockport based Amshire IT Solutions is keen to show their support and demonstrate how the apprenticeship scheme has had a ositive impact on the business.
At Amshire Solutions, Apprentices have become a highly valued part of the Company and they have now taken on their fifth Apprentice – Max Tiplady.
Amshire recognise first hand the benefits of employing apprentices as Apprenticeships have proved to be a tried and tested way to recruit new staff, re-train or upskill existing staff or people simply returning to work after a break:
- Learning can often be done in the workplace, meaning minimal disruption and maximum impact, and are a great way of attracting people with fresh new ideas.
- At the same time they can be tailored to specific job roles, making them flexible to the needs of the business.
- Apprenticeships provide you with the skilled workers you need for the FUTURE.
Managing Director Trevor Taylor (left) is a keen supporter of the Apprenticeship scheme:
“Apprentices have become a highly valued part of Amshire; young and eager to learn, they enable us to show them how we like things done at Amshire. They are also motivated, flexible and loyal which allows us to nurture their young talent through the Apprenticeship program”.
Technical Sales Director Dave Taylor added:
“We also recognise that a successful business is reliant on having the best employees and we have found that Apprenticeships are the most successful way to achieve this. Apprenticeships are our future; the businesses future. Many people think that an Apprenticeship is for those that are not academically minded which sadly, is a misconception”.
