Air Canada Rouge, the leisure division of Air Canada, took off in style from Manchester airport on it’s inaugural non-stop flight to Toronto.
Passengers arrived at Gate 22 to be met with balloons, singers, drinks and of course canadian pancakes with maple syrup to get them on their way.

The new service operates a Boeing 767-300ER will fly five times a week between the two cities throughout the summer season with the last flight leaving Toronto on Friday September 12th and departing from Manchester on Saturday 13th.
Air Canada Rouge is determined to create a unique experience for its passengers with an attentive crew putting their customers at ease and providing a memorable experience. Rouge flight attendants are trained in customer excellence at the Disney Institute and find creative ways to engage: they have done face painting onboard for children, a hot chocolate service during the coldest of winter days and celebrate paseengers’ birthdays and anniversaries.
Air Canada Rouge aircraft are all equipped with player, a next generation in-flight entertainment system that streams unlimited live entertainment direct to passengers’ personal electronic devices. Customers without their own ipads, ipod or iphone can rent these aboard for CAD$10.
Air Canada Rouge began operating July 1st 2013 with a fleet of 4 aircraft; now they operate a total of 27 aircraft including 19 Airbus A319 and 8 Boeing 767-300ER.
