Town centre-based start-up estate agents, Property Sense, has been appointed as the lettings agent for the nearly 200 apartments soon to welcome tenants overlooking Stockport Interchange and rooftop Viaduct Park.
Working alongside Plumlife Homes, the estate agents will market the 196 build-to-rent apartments on behalf of developers, Cityheart and Rise Homes, who worked alongside Stockport Council, Transport for Greater Manchester and others to deliver the wider Stockport Interchange scheme at the heart of the town’s ongoing £1 billion regeneration.
Since being appointed, Property Sense has accelerated the letting of apartments, with more than 40% of the 196 apartments at Stockport Interchange reserved as of 20th June.
On their Stockport Interchange appointment, Alex Cunningham, General Manager at Property Sense Estate Agents, commented:
“Stockport’s skyline is rapidly changing and it’s an exciting time to be a part of the Stockport property scene whether already a resident or looking to move into the area.
“The town is booming, and the regeneration and full transformation is not yet complete, meaning it’s a great time to be a part of the buzzing Stockport scene early.
“We’re proud to be letting out the Stockport Interchange high-end and modern apartments that offers a refined living space and boasts pet-friendly spaces with Wi-Fi included in the rent as standard, no deposit options available with parking options and of course, excellent transport links.”
Property Sense launched in April 2024 online and from physical premises on Exchange Street in Stockport town centre. The 12-strong team has an ambitious five-year plan to onboard 5,000 properties onto their managed services and capture a commanding 70% market share of new online sales instructions, which with the Stockport Interchange appointment these numbers are on-track to becoming a reality for the fledgling business.
