
With just over a week to go, the full line-up of speakers has been announced for the latest Climate Action Business Forum, which takes place on 29th September.
The upcoming event will be held both in-person and online via Microsoft Teams at Robinsons’ Brewery Visitor Centre (Apsley St, Stockport, SK1 1JJ) from 8am to 10am on Friday 29th September 2023.
The September meet up will be focusing on energy, covering innovation, buildings and digital best practice. Attendees will hear from Paul Kelsall from Kelsall Architects about energy management in buildings, and web developer Paul Jardin, from Roots Web Design, about how to reduce the impact of your digital presence as a business. There will also be speakers discussing the Bee Net Zero campaign and the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter.
Speed networking will round off the event – a chance to get to know more about each of the businesses in the room. The full agenda for the event is as follows:

The quarterly Climate Action Business Forum, organised by Stockport Council’s Climate Action Now team, aims to support Stockport-based businesses on their journey to achieving net zero. It aims to take businesses beyond the initial stage of understanding climate change, towards actively addressing and implementing change within their organisations.
The forum is open to all businesses and sectors, creating an opportunity for those that are interested in making a difference to share best practice and to access support.
