Irish carrier, Aer Lingus, has announced it has added extra transatlantic flights to its Winter 2024 schedule from Manchester Airport as it continues to expand operations in the North of England.
The new flights will see Aer Lingus increase its popular Manchester to Orlando route up to four times per week – an increase from the current three flights per week – between 18 December 2024 and 8 January 2025, including a new service on Christmas Day.
Susanne Carberry, Aer Lingus Chief Customer Officer, said:
“From family fun to winter sun, Aer Lingus’ Manchester network offers something for everyone.
“That is why we are thrilled to be adding extra flights from the North of England to Orlando during the Christmas school holidays – helping to make more dreams come true.
“The extra flights to Orlando will complement our existing transatlantic network which continues to prove popular with customers in the North of England.”
This winter, the flag carrier will offer direct flights from Manchester to Barbados, New York, and Orlando, in addition to direct services to Belfast, and to Dublin where passengers can make onward connections to other destinations in the US. All Aer Lingus transatlantic flights operated from Manchester to New York JFK, Orlando and Barbados are via the airline’s fleet of wide-bodied Airbus A330s offering spacious cabins and seating.
