Acacia Homecare has launched a new service in Stockport creating up to 20 new jobs over the next 12 months.
Run by Amy Stone, the new franchise Acacia Homecare Stockport has just been awarded with it’s CQC registration and is ready to start taking on customers as well as staff.
Currently employing four carers, the business is set to employ up to 20 staff in year 1 with ambitions to continue to create more jobs as the service expands.
Acacia Homecare is a domiciliary care business providing the highest standard of care in the comfort of your own home, something that Amy recognises as a growth area as more and more people are choosing to stay at home and retain their independence.
Staring in the care sector at a young age, Amy has extensive care knowledge and experience, enabling her to lead the way for future care.
Amy says,
“I believe in keeping people at home if that’s where they want to be, for as long as possible and I have made this happen many times in the past right to the very end.
“I love providing a service that really makes a difference to people’s lives and in return seeing the relief and gratitude of customers and their families once they receive the service.”
Choosing Acacia Homecare Franchise was not a difficult to decision to make for Amy as she quickly recognised that ..
“Acacia Homecare shares my values and ethos of doing whatever is needed to provide great care. Founders Sanjeev and Minal have such a drive and passion for the business and are very hands on which matches my style of running a business, I knew they would be supportive from day one and they have proven this already.
I am looking forward to having all the challenges and chaos thrown at me that home care brings!
Acacia Homecare recognises that it’s people are the most important factors of how care is delivered and invest heavily in staff, developing them from care worker roles right through to management. Amy believes that having a new office in Stockport will increase employment opportunities for the local people looking for work in care as carers, field care supervisors and even a deputy care manager.
Amy says
“I am looking forward to being able to recruit in my local area, to offer a great rewarding career for people in care and to support them as a team to be the best.
“We aim to become the standard to which care is measured. Our mission is to grow responsibly to become the best provider of care to the private sector, by offering high quality care from a mature, well trained, experienced and happy team. We aim to be the market leader in recruitment, pay and staff development to ensure that the team can provide the level of care we would want for our own families.”
