It has been a year of growth and success for a firm of Stockport chartered accountants and financial advisors. Clarke Nicklin has welcomed two new staff members to the team in 2013, and numerous employees have passed exams or gained qualifications throughout the year.
The year started out well when three of their accounts team became fully qualified, helping add value to the firm and its clients.
Managing Partner Andrew Baggott (left) believes it is
important to invest in employees:
“We need to continue to develop our staff in order to
encourage their career progression and to grow
ourselves as a firm. Most members of staff have
undertaken further development training in some form
this year, which helps us provide valued services to
clients.”
Claire Challinor, David Kennon and Simon Timmins are
the three individuals celebrating passing their final
qualifications, whilst accounts trainee Daniel Woodier
passed his AAT exams earlier this year. Along with fellow
trainee Mel Thurrell, Daniel is now studying towards
becoming fully qualified.
They are also delighted to welcome two new accounts
trainees to the team who are already underway with their
studies.
However, it isn’t just the accounts department racking up the exam passes. Administration Senior Anna
Litherland passed her AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting, HR and Payroll Manager Michelle Middlemas
passed her CIPD certificate in Human Resources, and Marketing and Events Senior Chelsea Maher gained her Diploma in Digital Marketing during the year.
The firm has also seen a 20% rise in its Financial Planning service line, in particular in helping businesses with employee benefit packages and in preparing for Auto-Enrolment. This area was boosted with Auto-Enrolment exam passes from both Partner Scott Herbert and Financial Advisor Jon Nield.
