Aldemore Bank is getting behind Stockport based Smart Works Greater Manchester and hosting a Smart Night Out in Manchester.
Smart Works Greater Manchester is a charity that provides high quality interview clothes, styling advice and interview training to women in need.
Since opening in June 2015, Smart Works has supported over 550 women in the region, of whom 70% have gone on into paid employment.
Laura Dalby, UK Head of Licensees for Smart Works said: “We give women the confidence, self-belief and practical tools they require to succeed at interview. We know that our interventions work giving women the confidence and skills to start the next chapter of their lives.”
In collaboration with Aldermore Bank, Smart Works Greater Manchester are hosting A Smart Night Out ball on Thursday 25th of May 2017 at the exclusive MacDonald hotel in central Manchester. The event promises to be a glittering, fun-filled night to remember, including delicious food, drinks, dancing, entertainment and prizes.
Although ticket sales make up the greatest part of revenue raised for the charity, there will be a silent auction and raffle, and Smart Works are looking for businesses who are interested in donating a prize to raise additional funds.
Laura explained: “We very much welcome support from all types of businesses. All contributors’ names will be mentioned and thanked in our programme and other publicity associated with ‘Smart Night Out’ through our social media platforms and newsletters, ensuring great exposure for all participating brands and businesses.
“Money raised at the event will help us to continue supporting vulnerable & disadvantaged women across the 10 boroughs of Greater Manchester.
“We hope that you will be able to support us in this way and we look forward to hearing from you.”
